TO INCLUDE
Our vision includes three words where the first is to include. Jesus connected the word include with the word love and said learn from John, the apostle of love. It is important for a church to be including, but it is also important for people to include themselves in the work for the Lord. If you don’t include yourself, it does not help that Jesus include you.
TO DO MISSION
The third word in the vision is to do mission. To do mission is a command all Christians have received from Jesus through the Great Commission. Jesus said that when it comes to mission you shall learn from the apostle Paul. He represents mission and doctrine. In The Way we take the vision and the mission seriously. All members are directly or indirectly participating in doing mission.
TO BUILD
The next word in the vision is to build. Word build have to main meanings. One is to bring up (build up), put together, construct. And the other is to settle down, populate. Jesus said about apostle Peter's confession: "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Jesus said learn from Peter when it comes to the word build in the vision.
"All three words in the church's vision are verbs. It means that you should act on them, do them and implement them."
